Jedi Engineering with LEGO
Ages 5-7
The Force Awakens in this introductory engineering course for young Jedi! Explore engineering principles by designing and building projects such as LEGO® X-Wings, R2 Units, Energy Catapults, Defense Turrets, and Settlements from a galaxy far, far away. Create motorized and architectural projects with imagination and engineering to defeat the Empire!

Ages 7-12
The Force Awakens in this advanced engineering course for young Jedi! Discover key engineering concepts such as gear trains, worm drives, pneumatics, and eccentric motion. Build LEGO X-Wings, AT-AT walkers, Pod Racers, Star Destroyers, Cloud Cities, Settlements, Fortresses, and other complex machines and structures from a galaxy far, far away.

Fashion, Faces and Flowers
7-13
For fashionistas, florists and budding makeup artists, this Young Rembrandts workshop celebrates the beautiful world of fashion. Every day students will be challenged and delighted drawing images that exude loveliness. Students will draw faces, stretch their imaginations illustrating whimsical flowers and challenge their creativity when tying them all together in fanciful settings. Prepare for elegance and a heap of drawing excellence! All materials provided.

Mad Science: Brixology
Ages 9-12
Brixology sets the foundation for our next generation of makers! Learn about the exciting field of engineering as a Mad Scientist guides you and your team to accomplish engineering-themed projects using LEGO® bricks. Step in the shoes of an aerospace engineer while assembling a space station and delve into the physics of carnival rides, structural basics of bridges and nature’s very own engineering marvels. Tinker with LEGO® bricks during camp and build your own models to test and rebuild at home! Get into engineering the Mad Science way!

Mad Science: Secret Agent Lab
Ages 6-12
Step into the shoes of a detective—uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis. Become a super sleuth and learn clever ways of performing tasks in this hands-on view of the science that spies use. From decoding messages to metal detectors and night vision, campers will have the opportunity to check out spy equipment, and discover the technological tools of detection!

Beginning Sewing
Ages 10-16
If the thought of making your own clothes or room decorations intrigues you, this is the class for you. Learn the basics of a sewing machine and how to read a pattern. Students will make one garment (choice of a skirt or pajama pants) and a pillowcase. After learning these basics, your only limitation is your imagination! A personal sewing machine is not required for this class, but if you have one you would like to use, please inform us when enrolling. Machine must be in good working order. There are limited number of sewing machines available on a first-come-first-served basis. A supply list will be sent after enrollment. Class size is limited to 10 students.

Pinterest Creations
Ages 10-16
Do you have creativity running through your veins? Are you obsessed with “pinning”? Join us for four fun-filled, creative days of projects all inspired by Pinterest. Projects will include a vase of glitter, a releaf canvas painting, a fleece sleeping bag, some new snack recipes and a few other creative projects. We will take a day to explore Pinterest and pick a project to do as a class. A supply list will be sent upon enrollment.

Babysitter Training
Ages 11-15
The best babysitters are those who are well trained. This course, offered in partnership with the American Red Cross, focuses on safety: general guidelines, safe play, basic care, first aid and infant/child CPR. It also teaches leadership and professionalism to help you make good decisions. Whether you have experience as a babysitter or just want to be trained for this important job, you will receive valuable information and hands-on training in this workshop. A book and CD-ROM are included.

Pet First Aid
Ages 9-13
Your pet can be your best friend and relies on you for care, but would you know what to do if you needed to provide more than just food, water and playtime? Learn how to handle a pet emergency in this American Red Cross course. We’ll learn about symptoms and care for animal sickness and emergencies, instructions for creating a pet first-aid kit and tips to keep your pet healthy. You will receive a book with DVD and a student first-aid kit for use in class, practice on dog or cat mannequins (specify dog or cat when enrolling) and receive practical pet health tips and lifetime American Red Cross certification.
